A kutty story of how this journey began.

We started with pre-pleating services to make it easier for clients to drape their sarees themselves. At that time, our goal was to bring saree draping closer to our Tamil community in Switzerland and make it feel less overwhelming. As we worked with more women, we realised that draping is not effortless for everyone. Pleats, structure and balance require understanding and technique. The methods we use were passed down in our family over generations. They are refined techniques you will not find on social media. Instead of only providing the service, we decided to teach it. What began as 1:1 classes slowly grew into workshops, where we share our knowledge and ensure every detail is properly understood. Alongside of teaching, we continued offering pre-pleating and on-site draping services. Over time, brides began to trust us with their wedding day.Today, we focus on graceful, comfortable drapes with perfectly aligned, natural-looking pleats. We avoid heavy pinning and create structure that enhances the natural shape of the body. Our signature hip-enhancing pleats are the highlight amoung our clients. For us, saree draping is a skill woven in tradition and skill. If you are wondering who stands behind “us”, it is me, Api, as your saree stylist, and my family as the backbone and source of knowledge. Together, we carry this craft forward with intention and confidence.
